Abel Tasman National Park

With beautiful blue lagoons and tropical climate the Abel Tasman Nationalpark is situated at the northern tip of the South Island. At the coastline along Tasman Bay and Golden Bay there's bay after bay with golden sand feeling like powder. Vegetation is lush, life easy going. We find a campground in Marahau that lets us have no wishes left and walk the first section (Marahau to Anchorage: 4 hours, 11,5km) of the all in all 51 km Abel Tasman Coast Track. Next day we head for Totaranui and explore a little part of the last section of the track.
